Three-stone Setting

At the top of this ring is a three-stone setting that offers a nice alternative to a diamond solitaire while not departing entirely from tradition. The center stone in this piece is a round brilliant cut diamond, and the open design of the four prong setting displays it nicely.

The round blue sapphires on either side of this center stone bring depth to the piece thanks to their rich color and the way that contrast enhances the sparkle of the diamond. Sapphires are an excellent choice to include in engagement rings, as they symbolize loyalty, sincerity, and reliability. Diamond Engagement Rings

Accent Diamonds

In addition to the sapphire accents, this ring also features bright cut set diamonds running down the shoulders of the platinum shank. These provide added sparkle to the piece, and they help to tie the larger gemstones in the main setting together with the more delicate hand engraving below.

Custom Metalwork

This ring achieves a nice balance between the dramatic presentation of the gemstones on top and the organic patterns of the shank below. The main settings feature a slight crossover design, which blends well with the hand engraving that runs along the sides of the shank all the way up to the top. The edges of the shank are also lined with milgrain to add a bit of vintage flair and to give the piece a more finished look.

There are several ways you can adjust this design to suit your own personal style. One is to choose a different pattern for the hand engraving, as our skilled artisans can recreate almost any pattern or geometric design you provide. You can also go with a different combination of gemstones to create a ring with special meaning for you and your partner.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
