Center Diamond
The largest diamond in this ring is one carat and round brilliant cut. It’s held in place by four talon prongs made from 14k white gold, and these provide a subtle contrast as they taper to a point on the top surface of the perfectly round diamond. The silvery shine of the metal complements the brilliant white sparkle of the stone beautifully, and the openness of the lower portion of the setting ensures a clear view of the diamond from all sides. Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is narrow and slightly domed on top, and these details add to the delicacy of the design overall while also helping to highlight the size of the gorgeous diamond at the top. On each ring front, a small princess cut diamond is bezel set directly below the center stone, with both of these rotated so that their corners rest at the compass positions. This detail creates a burst of surprise sparkle on the sides of the center, and it also introduces another subtle contrast with the perfect curves of the round stone at the top.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
