Item #103467 $5,106 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
On this initial visit, they shared an inspiration piece with our team and discussed the types of modifications they envisioned. We took this information and used it to put together a set of highly-detailed CAD images of the ring as we proposed to make it. They viewed these online through the dedicated workroom we set up to manage their project, and we also grew a wax model for them to come see in person before giving their final approval to move things into production.
Sapphire Center
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.09 carat elongated cushion cut blue Montana sapphire. It’s bezel set in platinum, and it’s oriented lengthwise across the band. This gorgeous stone was mined in nearby Montana, and it exhibits a lovely, rich blue color. Sapphires are a common substitute for diamonds as the main gemstone in an engagement ring, and they come in a wide range of colors, allowing you to include one with special significance for you and your partner. Diamond Halo and Milgrain Accents
Twenty-two small round diamonds are bright cut set in a ring surrounding the center sapphire. These total 0.13 carats combined, and the way the halo follows the contours of the larger stone exactly helps highlights the latter’s elegant shape. The diamonds’ brilliant sparkle adds a great contrast to the piece, enhancing the rich color of the sapphire while bringing a hint of glamorous flair to the design as well. Halo Engagement Rings
Milgrain beading runs around the inner and outer perimeters of the halo, and it also lines the edges of the band all the way around. This detail helps to unify the two areas of the ring, while also providing a nice, finished look to the piece.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
