Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four-prong setting made of 18k white gold. The prongs follow the contours of the stone closely, cradling it as they rise up from the band below to curl around its girdle. The openness this creates on all sides of the center setting ensures that the brilliant sparkle of the diamond can shine though on all sides, and it also showcases the elegant curves of the cut. Diamond Accents
Lines of split prong set diamonds run down the shank shoulders, beginning at the side of the center setting and continuing down past the mid-point on each side. These add a dose of glamorous flair to the ring, and the choice of the split prong setting style helps to reinforce the classical style of the piece. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
