Whether you’d prefer to work with our team in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom, or it’s easier for you to communicate through our online workroom, we’re committed to your complete satisfaction. Once we have an idea about the kind of piece you’re envisioning, we’ll develop models in CAD and share them with you online. You can provide feedback on these, and we’ll revise them as many times as necessary until you’re sure they’re perfect.
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s cradled in four yellow gold prongs that rise up directly from the top of the flat band below. The prongs all begin at a single point, moving out at an angle until they reach the edge of the diamond and curl up around it, framing the stone beautifully and holding it up dramatically above the band. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
A line of round bright cut set diamonds runs down each shank shoulder, ending just above the mid-point on each side. These accents are lined with milgrain beading, which gives them a nice, finished look while adding a hint of vintage flair to the piece as a whole. Vintage Engagement Rings Seattle

Design and estimate

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
