Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond surrounded by a diamond halo, all set in platinum. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, who shared his inspiration piece with us and asked us to create something unique for his fiancée. We came up with this design and then shared it with him online. He loved it, and he came in to view the center stone before we set it as well just to make sure that everything about the piece was perfect.

Center Setting

The central diamond in this ring comes in at 1.51 carats, and it’s held securely by four platinum claw prongs. The shape of the claw prongs provides a nice counterpoint to the perfectly round diamonds, and it also fits in nicely with the classical theme of the ring. Diamond Engagement Rings

Diamond Halo and Accents

A halo of bright cut set diamonds surrounds the center stone and follows its contours perfectly. The halo itself is a bit higher on the side closer to the diamond, and it angles downward slightly moving away from the center, a detail that helps to smooth the transition from the main stone into the rest of the ring. This was something that our client was particularly concerned with, and we made sure he was happy with the angle we used.

There are also bright cut set diamond accents running down the shoulders of the shank to the midway point, and these help to unite both parts of the ring, as wells reinforcing its classical theme. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
