Custom Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #1448 $4,712 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s prong set in the center of a split prong set diamond halo. The halo is slightly squared, which works well with the vintage theme of the design, and it provides a nice contrast with the perfectly round diamond in the center as well. Diamond Engagement Rings
One place to begin when customizing this ring might be to use a different shape of diamond in the center. Alternately, you could choose a different type of setting for the halo, or you could experiment with another type of gemstone altogether. Sapphires are a popular alternative to diamonds in engagement rings, and they come in many different colors, allowing you to work in a personal detail in that way as well. Euroshank and Milgrain
This ring features a narrow, delicate band, with split prong set diamonds running from the side of the halo all the way down to the mid-point on either side. These tie in perfectly with the diamonds in the halo, and they’re exactly as wide as the band, which helps create a truly dazzling look.
On the lower portion of the band, thicker areas form two corners to create what’s known as a Euroshank design. This is often used to help balance out large center settings, and it helps keep the ring from spinning on the finger when worn. MIlgrain beading runs along all of the edges of the band below where the diamonds stop, and the milgrain also lines the basket below the center setting, as well as the filigree that fills the space below the shank shoulders.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
