Custom Red Zircon And Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #101475 $4,841 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Red Zircon Center
The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.71 carat red zircon with a rich maroon color. It’s a lovely alternative to the more traditional diamond or sapphire as the main stone in an engagement ring, and the dramatic color contrast between the zircon and the brilliant white of the diamonds running below it really make for an eye-catching piece.
Diamond Inner Band
Two rows of pave set diamonds run from the mid-point on one side of the band to the same spot on the other side, passing directly below the center setting on their way. These create a kind of inner band of diamonds, which is framed by two strands of the split shank. Accent diamonds also line a small, curved section on each of the ring fronts that joins the two prongs on each side of the zircon together.
Shank Design and Customization Options
The band is narrowest at the very bottom, and it gradually widens as it moves up until it reaches the mid-way point. That’s where the rows of diamonds begin, and the strands of white gold on either side of them continue straight up for a while before splitting off again to form the prongs holding the main stone.
There are many ways to adjust this design to make it your own. One option is to use a different type or shape of gemstone in the center setting, as our client did when altering his inspiration piece. you could also replace some or all of the accent diamonds with another type of gem that holds special meaning for you. Or you could experiment with different metal options to see if you’d like the warmer tones of rose or yellow gold better. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
