Center Diamond
At the top of this ring sits a one carat radiant cut diamond, whose truncated corners are cradled perfectly by the double claw prongs of the main setting. This cut can be perfectly square or rectangular, and it combines the clean exterior lines of an emerald cut with the wonderful sparkle of a brilliant cut. This makes it a nice alternative if you’re attracted to the brilliance of round or oval stones but like the more angular shapes. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Sapphire Accents
Two rows of round bright cut set diamonds run down each of the shank shoulders, starting right at the side of the main setting and ending about a quarter of the way down the band. These are lined with milgrain beading for some vintage flair and a lovely framing effect.
Directly below the main setting, a bridge design connects one side of the band with the other. Three round blue sapphires are set into this piece on each ring front, adding a lovely and surprising burst of color that can only be seen from certain angles. Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Rings
Band Design and Hand Engraving
The band features a knife edge which divides the top into two sloped sides. The diamonds at the top of the band are evenly distributed on either side of the peak, and the remainder of the band down almost all the way to the bottom is covered with an elegant hand-engraved wheat pattern that complements the shape of the band as well. The milgrain framing the diamonds also lines the hand-engraved sections, helping to give the ring a satisfying sense of balance and unity.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
