Center Setting and Halo

At the top of this ring, a 1.25 carat cushion cut diamond is held in place by four prongs made of 14k white gold. The prongs meet the stone at its rounded corners, helping to reinforce its squared shape. The halo that surrounds the center is made up of split prong set diamonds, and it follows the contours of the larger stone perfectly. Diamond Engagement Rings

The use of this shape at the top of the ring adds to the vintage overtones of the design, as does the inclusion of the halo itself. This style has long been a popular choice for engagement rings, and the diamonds in the halo add their own glamorous sparkle to the piece while also reflecting light up onto the larger stone, helping to increase its brilliant shine. Diamond Accents and Band Design

Split prong set diamonds run down both shank shoulders, ending at about the mid-point on each side. These tie in nicely with the diamonds in the halo, and they bring their own glamorous flair to the design as well. As a finishing touch, three round diamonds are split prong set in a line running down the lower portion of each prong. This detail gives the ring a satisfying balance, and it completes the unification of the two separate sections of the piece.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Quality

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Structure and support

Diamond and gemstone selection
We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
Final inspection
Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
