Solitaire Diamond
A solitaire diamond is a traditional choice for an engagement ring, and this one is a stunning princess cut stone held securely in a four prong setting above a split shank. The princess cut is a modern choice, and it’s becoming increasingly popular in engagement rings of late.

Accent Stones
Running through the middle of the split shank is a row of split prong set diamonds and blue sapphires in alternating placement. The diamonds add some sparkle to the piece, while the sapphires provide a nice contrast with the brilliant white of the diamond. Sapphires also represent loyalty, faithfulness, and reliability, making them a popular choice for engagement rings as well.
Custom Engraving
The custom engraving that covers the lower part of the band on this ring was the main addition our clients made to the design. It gives the piece a lovely vintage feel, and it also allowed them to incorporate their own personal touch into the ring.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
