Description
This exquisite engagement ring features a round Diamond surrounded by a floral halo atop an organic shank, with diamond and blue topaz accents. It was created for a client from Ankara, Turkey, who found our engagement ring online and wanted to make some slight adjustments so it better reflected his vision.

Although he was unable to visit our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, we worked through several stages of revision with the design online using our sophisticated 3D imaging software so we could be sure to get every feature just the way he wanted it,
Center Diamond
The stone in the center of this ring is a round 1 carat diamond whose brilliant white color is nicely complemented by the soft shine of the 14k white gold band. It sits in a four prong setting, which was one of the alterations the client made to the original design. His inspiration piece had a wrapped bezel setting with diamond accents set right into it, but he wanted to open the setting up more to let the main stone shine through.
He kept the accent diamonds too, but placed them slightly below the main stone rather than above it. Both of these modifications made it possible for more light to get to the center stone, making it more pronounced and placing its brilliant sparkle front and center. Diamond Engagement Rings
Floral Halo and Shank
Surrounding the main setting are five loops of metal shaped like flower petals, and this works nicely with the other organic elements included in the shank. These include a vine and leaf motif that’s lined with milgrain and that run down both shank shoulders to just about the half way point.
For a finishing touch, bright cut set round blue topaz fill each leaf, and slightly larger stones are bezel set in the curves of the vines. These add a wonderful color to the ring, and their delicate blue contrasts perfectly with the polished white gold band.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
