Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong setting made of 14k rose gold. The prongs meet the stone at the compass positions relative to the band, and this arrangement works well with the swirling motion of the surrounding halo to produce a cohesive look for the piece. Stylized Halo
Each of the four sections of the halo begins at one of the prongs, looping out from there while simultaneously angling downward. This causes the sections to overlap, creating a floral appearance for the center setting with a distinctively contemporary style. Diamond Engagement Rings
Each of these sections holds three baguette diamonds that are channel set in the widest part, and that’s what produces the halo effect. It dramatically increases the size of the center setting while using relatively small diamonds, maximizing their sparkle while producing an entrancing and unique design at the same time.
Band Design
The band is straight and narrow all the way around, and it’s made of 14k rose gold. Its simple, delicate lines ensure that it does not distract in any way from the center setting, and it works to subtly enhance the organic overtones of the design as well. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
