The winner design was combining a three stone ring with a wrapping shank around the main diamond and side stones. To better visualize the idea of their engagement ring, our CAD designers produced several proofs for our clients to choose.

Three Stone Style
The main stone featured in this ring is a 0.93 ctw round cut diamond, prong-set between the two wrapped ends of the shank. When looked at from a bird eye view, the three diamonds appear to be hugged together by the extending ends of the shank.
The upper part of the band is flattened when it reaches the top to fluently cape around the center diamond. The side stones sit in a basket style in proximity to the inner shank walls.
To allow for more light, the upper part has been carved to lessen the metal feel and give a sneak peek on the diamond when viewed from either fronts.
The accommodation of three stones in such designs is not so common and gives this ring an extra pop of sparkle and beauty.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
