Platinum Three Stone Trillion Blue Sapphire And Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #100317 $4,495 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Three-stone Setting
The largest stone in this ring is a 0.62 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s prong set in 18k white gold. The four prongs that make up this setting all arise from a platform directly below the stone, and they angle up and out, while their inner margins stay close to the lines of the diamond at the top.
On either side of this gorgeous stone and sitting slightly below, two trillion shaped blue sapphires are prong set, each with their wider end up agains the side of the center setting. The rich, deep blue of these sapphires brings a dramatic contrast to the piece, and their triangular shape plays on this contrast while also smoothing the transition to the tapered band below. Band Design
The band itself is somewhat narrow across the bottom, with margins that bow out slightly on the way up the sides before tapering back in nearly to a point where they meet the side stones in the center setting. This subtle detail helps enhance the classical feel of the design, and it also gives the ring a more delicate feel overall.
Customization Options
Whether you’d like to customize this ring on its own or as part of a custom wedding set, our team is ready to help. We can discuss your ideas with you online through our website, or in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom, and we won’t send anything into production until you’re completely satisfied with the digital and wax models we’ve produced for you to review. Some options for customizing this ring include using different color sapphires in the side positions, changing the shape of the stones, and using a different type of metal for the band. You may also want to consider switching the positions of the stones to have the sapphire in the center spot and diamonds on the sides, or you might want to add some custom hand engraving to the band for an extra personal touch.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
