Aquamarine Center in a Bezel Setting
The center stone in this ring is rotated and set in a diagonal manner, which creates a more fun look and gives this piece a unique esthetic. The light blue hues of the aquamarine blend with the white tones of the metal creating a combination of a smooth and serene look.
The main gemstone sits flush in a bezel setting. Bezels give extra security to the stones and contribute to the overall look of a ring. It takes excellent craftsmanship and artistry to carve details to a bezel setting. Adding filigree, milgrain, or diamond melees could be few options of how to spice up a bezel set stone.
Diamond Side Stones
Being diagonally set, the asscher cut aquamarine corners are pointing east-west. Each of those corners leads the sight to the shank shoulders, atop which sit small accent diamonds. Each of those round diamonds rest atop their own basket and are hugged by thin metal walls extending from the shank.
The outer edge of the ring gives the appearance of a square looking shank above the middle point.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
