Custom Diamond Fashion Ring
Item #102975Fashion Ring Description
We were able to use 14 of her 18 gems, and we experimented with several different layouts until we found the one she loved. She reviewed the CAD models of the new piece that we posted to her account online, and she also came in to view a wax model of the design in person before she approved it to move into production.
Organic Setting
The 14 diamonds in this ring are arranged in an organic manner that makes them look like a cluster of flowers. Most of these diamonds are prong set, but a few are bezel set in the curling ends of the strands of the split shank as they wind their way through the main setting. This reinforces the organic themes of the piece, and it also gives the ring an elegant sense of balance.
There are four strands that form the framework of the main setting, and three of them come from one side of the ring while the fourth comes from the other. This asymmetrical arrangement is another feature that contributes to the organic overtones of the ring, and it also means that the band itself thickens as it moves from one side to the other as it prepares to split into three.
Custom Design Process
There are many ways to begin the custom design process. If you already have some gemstones that you want to have integrated into a new piece, as this client did, our team will work with you to determine how best to go about this while producing a piece that’s a great fit to your personal style.
Whether you have a clear idea of what you want your new piece to look like, or you would like to see some sample pieces to get a better feel for the options, we can help. And our team of highly-skilled artisans and designers will work closely with you throughout the process to ensure you come away with exactly the kind of fine custom jewelry you’ve been envisioning.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
