This exceptional, spellbinding engagement ring was meticulously crafted for one of our clients from Aurora, CO. Having an intricate, unconventional idea in mind, that could only bloom to life at Joseph Jewelry, our client was thrilled that he would finally be able to propose with his dream ring.

Since our client lives out of Washington state, the project was handled online from start to completion. After sharing with us his inspiration, our designers provided 3D CAD drawings for him to visualize the details and future masterpiece. Our client was able to communicate with the design team and track the progress of his custom project through our messaging portal. Skull-Octopus Fusion

The first design attempt had the octopus tentacles blend with the skull as one entity. Our client requested to have each as a separate entity yet keep the beauty of the fusion between both elements. The end design exceeded expectations, and our client was enthusiastic to see the wax model and visualize the proportions and real dimensions before we move forward into production.
To intensify the tentacles appearance and have it contrasted to the 18k white gold skull, our client leaned into having the tentacles plated in black Rhodium. The appendages are flawlessly attached to the cranium, to bend and fold around the finger.


Trillion London Blue Topaz

This out-of-the-box captivating design features a trillion cut London blue topaz, immersed in the skull’s center top as if it has been “forcefully placed” as per our client’s vision. For extra details, cracks have been carved adding an additional layer of realism to this surreal piece of art.
