Custom Tanzanite And Diamond Ring
Item #100842Fashion Ring Description
After discussing the project with her both online and over the phone, we posted her unique design in high-quality CAD, which she then approved to move into production. Although she never visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, the skills of our staff and the structure of our custom design process allowed us to produce exactly what she was looking for, and she was very happy with the result.
Tanzanite Center
The centerpiece of this ring is a 6mm trillion shaped blue tanzanite. It’s rich blue color is intensified by the high-quality cut, and it contrasts beautifully with the 14k white gold of the setting and band.
The three prongs of the center setting cradle the corners of the stone, framing them perfectly while also providing added protection to this part of the stone. These types of prongs are a good choice for a gemstone with angles like this one, as the corners are the areas most susceptible to damage through regular wear.
Diamond Halo and Accents
The halo in this piece is made up of round bright cut set diamonds, and it follows the contours of the tanzanite it surrounds to form a slightly rounded triangle. Both the top and sides of the halo hold diamonds, and this brings unparalleled sparkle to the piece while also helping to intensify the brilliance of the center stone.
Round bright cut set diamonds also line the shank shoulders of the ring down to the half-way point on the band, forming a link between the two sections of the piece. And the setting style used for the diamonds helps bring some classical flair to the piece, creating a truly timeless design.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
