Two-tone Band
The two-tone look is achieved in this piece through the pairing of the rose gold inner band and its warm, reddish color, with the beautiful silvery platinum outer band. The platinum band is actually completely split in two by an engraved wave pattern, which allows the rose gold to shine through from below.
Contrasting Finishes
Contrasting finishes are used to further accentuate the separation between the two sections of the ring. The platinum features a brushed finish that creates a beautiful matte surface, while the rose gold is polished to a high shine. Each finish helps to create a nice overall balance for the piece.
Customization Options
There are quite a few ways you can go about customizing this ring. One option is to stick with a consistent finish on both the inner and outer sections, which would give the ring a more classical flair. You could also switch the placement of the finishes by using a sandblasted finish on the rose gold section and a high polish on the platinum.
A hammered finish for the platinum is another alternative, and using that would introduce another layer of texture to the design and tie in nicely with the gentle undulations of the engraved wave pattern.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
