This stunning men’s wedding ring features a polished rose gold groove in a curving pattern, running all the way around the brushed platinum band. It was created for a couple from Seattle, WA, who came to us to have all three rings in their wedding set custom made at the same time. Groove Design
The main feature of this ring is the contoured groove that runs all the way around the band. It includes a wave-like shape at the top of the ring, which is a reflection of the way the women’s wedding band curves to accommodate the shape of the engagement band it wraps around. This is a great way to include a connection between the men’s and women’s rings in a set even though the pieces themselves are quite different in terms of style.
The inclusion of the groove also allows for a beautiful contrast to be introduced between the silvery platinum that makes up the top of the band and the warm color of the rose gold cutting through it. The polished finish on the rose gold also contrasts with the brushed finish on the platinum to enhance the distinction between the two sections.
Metal and Finish Options

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
