Combination Finishes
The main feature of this ring is the top surface, which was created by using a combination of hammered and sandblasted finishes. The hammered finish produces the organic, gently undulating texture, and the sandblasting gives the ring a more grainy, matte look on top.
Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this piece, one option is using a different combination of finishes, with brushed and polished both as good options to go over the hammered surface. You could also work in a gemstone, either flush set on the outside to add some sparkle, or on the inside to create a special connection with the women’s rings that make up the rest of the set. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
