It was created for clients from Seattle, WA as part of a wedding set to match ring #102045. Our team took the ideas the clients brought us and put together some rough designs, which the clients then modified until they had exactly what they were looking for.

Black Diamonds
The black diamonds running nearly all the way around this ring make a dramatic statement with their sparkle and bold, rich color. They also carry with them connotations of passion, certainty, love, and romance, making them a great choice for this type of ring.
Setting and Finish
There are several different ways to set stones in an eternity pattern, and each creates a slightly different look and feel for the overall piece. That makes changing the type of setting a good way to add your own personal touch to a design. For instance, the channel setting used here generates a sleek modern look, but if you prefer a more classical style, you might opt for bright cut set stones instead.
Another often-overlooked design element is the type of finish on a ring. This piece uses a brush finish to accentuate the sparkle of the diamonds by gently contrasting it. But you could also choose a polished finish to make the whole ring shine.
Shank Options
For this ring, our clients chose a Euro shank, which is slightly squared on the bottom to help keep it from spinning on the finger when worn. The squared area of the shank also corresponds to the spot where the diamonds and engraving stop, helping to bring a nice balance to the piece visually as well as physically.
The palladium used here was chosen for its cool grey color as well as its strength and durability. However, other metals will also work well with this design, and they can even add a touch of color. One option would be to switch to yellow or rose gold, which would create a more classical look while still contrasting beautifully with the dramatic color of the black diamonds.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
