Two-tone Band
The body of this 8mm wide band is made of grey tungsten, and this is visible on the entire inner surface as well as in the form of substantial rails on the top. Between these rails, a silver inlay provides a subtle contrast, producing two-tone look with a modern aesthetic but no discernible separation between the two materials.
Black Diamonds
The silver center section of this ring holds a line of nine black diamonds that are all channel set and that combine to total 0.27 carats. These diamonds bring a more dramatic contrast to the piece, and on another level, their round shape offers a contrast with the straight lines of the channel setting holding them. Men’s Wedding Rings
Contrasting Finishes
While the entire tungsten section of the ring is polished to a high shine, the silver inlay is brushed to create a soft, matte surface. This helps make the distinction between the two metals more clear, and it also produces another layer in the contrast with the black diamonds, helping to enhance their sparkle.
Customization Options
To begin the custom design process, you may want to reevaluate the combination of metals used in this piece. One option would be to use all one metal and keep the contrasting finishes to maintain the distinction between the sections of the design. Alternately, you could use the same combination of metals but switch to only one finish.
Using a different type of gemstone is another option, as is switching to princess cut stones rather than the round used here. That change would give the ring a more modern feel, or you could also take things in a different direction again by using a bright cut setting for the stones.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
