This stunning pendant features a marquise diamond bezel set in the center, accented by two hexagonal halos of bright cut set round diamonds lined with milgrain beading. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to begin the custom design process.

Center Diamond and Halos
At the center of this piece is a marquise diamond that’s bezel set and oriented to sit vertically. The rim of metal that surrounds the stone both accentuates its elegant shape and protects its edges from damage. The choice of a bezel setting for the center also allows the diamond to keep a lower profile, rising just slightly above the level of the rest of the pendant. Design Your Own Jewelry
Milgrain Accents and Pendant Design
Surrounding the center diamond are two halos of round bright cut set diamonds, both of which have a hexagonal outer margin. The inner halo uses the marquise shape of the center setting as its inner margin. The shape of the halos also gives the pendant its overall shape, and this contrasts beautifully with the elegant curves of the center stone.
Above the main body of the piece, a small round diamond is bright cut set within a small marquise shape, and above this, a final accent diamond is bright cut set within a small hexagon. This last piece serves as the front of the bale as well, and the use of these shapes to hold the two additional accents ties in nicely with the shapes found in the main section below. Pendants
All of the diamonds in this piece are framed by lines of milgrain beading, the addition of which brings a finished quality as well as a bit of vintage flair to the design.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
