Specialty Cut Quartz
The central stone in this piece is a 33.44 carat quartz that’s been specially cut by an award winning gemstone cutter. The shape perfectly highlights the stone’s best qualities, and it works well with the lines within the stone as well. The size and the shape make a pendant design the best choice for this stone. And because it’s almost completely clear, it doesn’t overwhelm despite its size.
Wrapped Wire Setting
In order to display as much of the stone as possible, we decided to use a wrapped wire setting. This utilizes a dainty wire that begins at the bail and winds its way down to the bottom of the stone in a twisting path that takes it nearly two full times around. Because the quartz is so clear, you can see the wire as it passes around the back of the stone, which only adds to the delicate and elegant look of the piece.

Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
