Shared Prong Set Diamonds and Pendant Design
There are 18 diamonds in this piece, and they’re all round and shared prong set. They follow the contours of the heart perfectly, and they span the base as well, so that all that’s visible from the front is their wonderful sparkle. This gives the pendant a glamorous flair, and the use of the shared prong setting helps minimize the amount of metal showing around the diamonds.
The body of the pendant encloses the backs of the diamonds, protecting them from damage while giving them a solid base from which to shine. It connects directly to the chain through two small hoops, with one on either side of the top of the heart. This positioning keeps the pendant always centered and facing forward when worn, which also ensures the diamonds will always have maximum visual impact.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
