Pink and Blue Sapphires
There are 10 pink sapphires and nine blue sapphires in this ring, and all of them are round and bright cut set in platinum. The way the sapphires are arranged in a line all the way around the ring makes this piece an eternity band, which is a popular choice for wedding and anniversary rings. Band Design and Milgrain Accents
This ring is made up of a series of hexagonal and marquise shaped sections that alternate all the way around. The blue sapphires are set in the hexagonal areas, and the pink sapphires inhabit the marquise shapes, adding another layer to the contrast between the two colors. The margins of the ring are defined by the shape of the sections as well, giving the piece a somewhat scalloped appearance.
Both the marquise and the hexagonal sections are lined with milgrain beading, which helps add some vintage flair to the design. If you’d like to take this a step farther, you could add some custom hand engraving to the fronts of the band. This is an extra detail that adds to the uniqueness of the piece, and it gives you the opportunity to work in a design or pattern of personal significance.
You could also experiment with different types of gemstones to replace the pink and blue sapphires, which was the main adjustment these clients made to their inspiration piece. The ring they customized had pink sapphires and white diamonds, but they moved the pink stones to the marquise sections and inserted the blue sapphires to get just the look they were after.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
