This elegant women’s wedding ring features a lovely hand-engraved pattern on the top and fronts of the ring, all sections of which are framed with milgrain beading. It was created as part of a custom wedding set that also included this engagement ring for a client from Vancouver, BC, who initially contacted us through the Ring Builder feature on our website.

She had a clear idea of what she wanted for both her engagement band and wedding ring, and after a brief consultation with one of our team members online, she came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to view some sample pieces. Once we knew more about what she wanted for her rings, we created some high-quality CAD models for her to view and adjust as needed.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
The main feature of this ring is the beautiful hand-engraved floral scroll pattern, which the client was very concerned with getting exactly right. She liked the engraving style she’d seen on one of our example pieces, but she wanted it to have a bit more of a floral theme, and so she shared another image with us through the online workroom we created for the project.
Matching Wedding Sets
The engraving on this ring is lined with milgrain beading, which frames it beautifully and also ties in with the same detail on the matching engagement ring. While both of the pieces in this set have custom engraving, the patterns differ substantially, as do the shapes of the bands. However, the use of the milgrain provides a unifying feature, and the complementary nature of the engraved patterns ensures a truly stunning display when the two are worn together. This set is rather unique in that it is completely free of gemstones, but even if you want something more traditional in terms of an engagement ring, you can still utilize many of the design elements found in these pieces to create your own personalized set. Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
