Description
This elegant women’s wedding ring features round bright cut set diamonds in an organic band, all accented with delicate milgrain beading. It was created for a client from Norfolk, VA, who reached out to us to have a custom piece designed that would fit around her existing diamond solitaire engagement ring. She had found an eternity band on our website that she liked, and she requested that we modify it to accommodate her existing ring. To do this, we needed the engagement ring, and so she shipped it to her parents, who brought it into our Bellevue, WA showroom. We developed a design to wrap around it, and we then grew a wax model so that we could share pictures of the model and the engagement ring together with her online. Organic Design
The top of the band features organic scroll shapes that curl in and around each other in a manner reminiscent of vines or tree limbs. At the top of the band, these vines part just enough for the diamond from the engagement ring to come through, while the rest of the band fits snugly over top of the engagement ring’s shank. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Round bright cut set diamonds line all of the widest parts of the vines and curls, and this brings wonderful sparkle to the piece, while also helping to enhance the brilliance of the larger diamond in the engagement ring. The organic pattern is lined in milgrain beading as well to help reinforce the vintage theme of the piece and give it a nice, finished feel.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
