Band Design
This ring is characterized by the simple classical touches that are typical of this designer. The most striking feature, however, is the gap at the top of the band that helps to give the design a unique twist. On either side, the tip of the shank points towards its partner on the other side, but the two never meet, and this creates a lovely effect thanks to the innovative use of negative space. As the band rises up from the bottom on each side, it maintains a consistent width until about a quarter of the way from the top. At that point, it begins to widen slightly before narrowing to a point somewhat more dramatically. These are the points that frame the gap at the top and they add to the delicate feel of the piece overall. Fashion Rings
Diamond Accents
Starting about three-quarters of the way down each side of the band, small round diamonds are bright cut set in a line that continues all the way up to the points at the top. Just like the band itself, these diamonds are the same size most of the way up, but they also increase in size in order to continue filling the space as the band widens as it nears the top. There are 32 diamonds combined in this piece, for a total of 0.15 carats, and the use of the bright cut setting style reinforces the classical overtones of the design.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
