This lovely women’s wedding ring features round bright cut set diamonds running along the top of a contoured band, with milgrain and custom hand-engraved accents on the top and fronts. She knew she wanted something that would fit up against her engagement ring, and this proved a bit tricky because of the specific shape of that piece. However, we came up with several options that she liked, and to help her decide, we grew waxes of her two favorites. Since there wasn’t enough time to ship the waxes based on her required timeline, we instead photographed them each with the engagement ring, and that allowed her to choose the one she truly liked best. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
Contoured Band
This band is straight and flat most of the way around, but right at the top where it would meet the main setting of the engagement ring, it curves outward to accommodate the basket of the engagement ring’s main setting. This contouring helps align the two pieces so that they truly look like they belong together, and so that they always stay aligned on the finger.
The curved portion of the band also holds 14 round bright cut set diamonds, which follow the curve of the piece from one corner to the other. They are tucked partially below the main setting of the engagement ring when worn, and they add a lovely sparkle while complementing the engagement ring’s center setting nicely. Matching Wedding Sets
Custom Hand Engraving
Nearly the entire rest of the band, aside from the contoured section and a small sizing bar at the bottom, is covered with a beautiful wheat pattern of hand engraving. This, as well as the diamond accents, is lined with milgrain beading, which ties in with a similar feature on the companion engagement ring, and also adds a nice vintage flair to the piece.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
