Relief Engraving
The main feature of this ring is the lovely, organic scroll pattern that runs all the way around the 18k white gold band. It’s created by a technique called relief engraving, which allows the design to stay raised while the background is cut away. This is considered more elegant than traditional engraving, and it’s also quite a bit more labor intensive.
We’re able to offer this type of engraving to all of our custom design customers thanks to the exquisite skill of our master engraver.
