You can begin the process by visiting either of our showrooms, located in Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA, in person, or you can contact our team through our website. Regardless of your preferred method of collaboration, we’ll develop a unique design for you in CAD based on the sample pieces and other information you provide. We’ll revise these models as many times as you’d like, and we won’t turn anything over to our expert artisans to begin production until you’re sure every detail is perfect.
Band Design
This ring is made of 18k white gold, and its outer margins move in and out following the contours of the individual sections that make it up. These are alternately marquise and hexagon-shaped, with the hexagons oriented so that two of their corners lie in line with the band. These corners are where the marquise sections meet the hexagons, and the way the pattern is repeated all the way around the ring gives it an intricate and delicate appearance. A singe round diamond is bright cut set within each of these sections, adding a brilliant white sparkle and lovely glamorous flair to the design. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
