This elegant women’s wedding ring features an intricate filigree covering the top of a tapered white gold band, accented with milgrain and custom hand engraving. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA as part of a custom wedding set that also included an engagement ring.

Band Design and Filigree
The band begins as a narrow, slightly rounded piece at the bottom, but it quickly widens as it moves up the sides until about the mid-point. This is where the center opens up to make space for the beautiful custom filigree that covers the top of the ring, and the rails that run along on either side of this maintain the same distance from each other all the way across. The filigree itself consists of a series of tightly curved scrolls, whose organic movement makes them resemble intertwining vines. This brings a wonderful organic character to the piece, and it matches the filigree present in the companion engagement ring. Matching Wedding Sets
Custom Hand Engraving
The fronts of the ring, as well as the top below where the filigree stops, are covered with custom hand engraving in a pattern that complements the shape of the filigree perfectly. This detail is also present on the engagement ring that completes the set, and it greatly enhances the elegant, classical feel of the design. Both the filigree and the engraving are framed by lines of milgrain beading to create a finished look with a hint of vintage flair.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
