Band Design
This is a straight band designed to sit flush up against the engagement ring, and it is split prong set with 28 round diamonds. These run from the mid-point on one side of the band to the same spot on the other, providing a lovely sparkle and classical elegance, which is only intensified by the use of the split prong setting.

There are many details to consider when designing your custom wedding set. For instance, you may know that you want the two rings to be flush, but that doesn’t always mean the wedding band will be straight, depending on the contours of the engagement ring. However, if you’d like to have the option to wear your wedding ring on its own in certain situations, you may want to go with a straight band anyway, regardless of the lines of the engagement ring.
In the case of this set, the straight band was made possible by the height of the center setting on the engagement ring. Because the clients knew they wanted a straight band to go with it, we made sure the setting was high enough to let the wedding ring slip underneath. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
