This classy design was created for one of our clients from Seattle, WA. The design was inspired from a collection of the Joseph Jewelry signature pieces, which caught our client’s attention. To best match the design our client had in mind for his significant other, our designers provided 3D rendered images, through our online platform, to better visualize the design options. The winner design was solitaire style inspired with small accent diamonds to the sides.

Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Round Diamond with Accent Stones
This gorgeous engagement ring features a 1.36 ctw round brilliant diamond in a six-prong setting. Those prongs dictate a basket shape and optimize the amount of light penetrating through the gem. For a kick of character, claw prongs were chosen to add an extra twist to this simple, yet elegant design.
Since our client’s main interest was to keep the main diamond at the spotlight, the side stones were set very close to it, to complement it rather than compete with it.
Three diamond melees, on each side of the ring, achieved the desired look while adding extra bling and flair to the design. This cluster of diamonds brings an additional layer of detail to the ring’s esthetic.
The basket in which rests the center stone, sits within a knife edge polished platinum band. This style of the shank gives a contemporary character to the ring along with a stylish and distinct look.
Customization
If you’re a fan of solitaires with a twist, you can try this ring in a braided band all in rose gold for a more modern look.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
