14k White Gold Custom Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #103535 $3,886 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The client initially reached out to us through our website to request a quote on a customization of a design he liked. He later indicated he’d like a matching wedding band as well, and so we designed the two rings together as a set.
Center Setting and Halo
The main diamond in this ring is one carat and cushion cut. It sits in a four prong platinum setting, and it’s surrounded by a contoured halo of split prong set diamonds. The halo style is a classic one, as is the use of the split prong setting for the diamonds that make it up. These diamonds add a lovely sparkle to the ring, and they also reflect light up onto the center stone from below, helping to increase its brilliance. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
Bright cut set diamonds run down the shank shoulders of this piece, covering the top and fronts of the band down to the mid-point on each side. These taper slightly as the band narrows to a point right where it meets the side of the halo, and they match the accent diamonds in the companion wedding band in both size and placement. Matching Wedding Sets
Matching Wedding Sets
Whether you’re interested in having your entire wedding set made at once, or you’re only ready to design an engagement ring at this point, it can be helpful to consider the type of wedding band you’d ultimately like to have as you move through the custom design process. For instance, not all engagement ring designs can accommodate a straight wedding band sitting flush against them, and so if that’s the type of wedding band you think you’d like, you need to make sure it will work with the engagement ring style you’ve chosen.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
