Center Diamond
At the center of this ring, a one carat round brilliant cut diamond is cradled in a four prong setting made of 14k white gold. The origin of these prongs is a spot directly below the diamond itself on the narrow bridge piece connecting the two sides of the ring. Rising from there, the prongs form a V shape that’s visible below the halo, adding a subtle intricacy to the design. Halo Engagement Rings
Diamond Halo and Milgrain
The center stone is surrounded by a halo of round bright cut set diamonds, and these are arranged in a slightly squared shape, with rounded corners lining up with the placement of the prongs in the center setting. This design detail brings a bit of contemporary flair to the ring, as does the straight, flat band below. Diamond Engagement Rings
The outer margin of the halo is lined with milgrain beading as well, providing a satisfying, finished look for the piece and framing the diamonds nicely. The milgrain and round center stone hint at the classical origins of this design, but the soft blockiness of the halo and band are what draw it solidly into a more modern style.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
