Center Setting

The central diamond in this ring is one carat and round brilliant cut. It rises up out of the knot halo surrounding it cradled in four white gold prongs, and the way the strands of the knot intertwine give the piece a dramatic swirling movement. All of these strands are also pave set with diamonds, adding some glamorous sparkle while simultaneously intensifying the brilliance of the center stone. Diamond Engagement Rings

Twisted Shank and Pave Set Diamonds

The intertwining nature of the center setting is continued in the band, where the two strands of the split shank cross over each other twice on their way up to the main setting. These strands are pave set with diamonds down to the three quarter point, making them seem like the natural extension of the knot halo at the top. Custom Engagement Rings

Customization Options

There are many ways to adjust this design to make it better suit your personal style. For starters, you could opt for a different cut of diamond in the center, which would fundamentally alter the contours of the ring. Or you could use a different type of gemstone such as a pink sapphire or diamond to add some romantic flair to the piece.

Another way to introduce contrast might be to switch to rose gold for the band itself, which would push things in a more vintage direction as well. There are many other options to consider too, and our team can help you make as many modifications as you’d like to your design until you’re sure it’s absolutely perfect.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Quality

Diamond and gemstone selection
We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
Final inspection
Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
