Diamond Solitaire
The only gemstone in this ring is a one carat, round brilliant cut diamond that’s cradled at the top by four rose gold prongs. Band Design and Customization Options
The band is straight and narrow, rising up to meet the sides of the center setting about half-way down the diamond. Below the main setting, a small strand of the inner margin of the band splits off and curves across to meet its counterpart coming from the other side before curving back up to form a prong.
As they curve, these strands are indented slightly before continuing up to meet the diamond, and that pathway creates a heart shape in the area below the shank shoulder on both ring fronts. This small detail adds a touch of romantic flair to the piece, and it also brings an element of intricacy to the otherwise minimalist design. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
