This dazzling engagement ring features an oval diamond prong set at the top, with shared prong set diamond accents lining the bars in the gallery and running all the way around the white gold band. They had a vision for their completed wedding set, and they shared it with us in this initial consultation. We used the information they provided to design an eternity band, and they then picked out the perfect large diamond for the center. They reviewed the CAD models we created of their proposed piece, and they requested only a few minor modifications before approving the ring to move into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a 2.02 carat oval diamond is held in a four prong white gold setting. The clients provided this stone, and we designed the setting to match its dimensions perfectly. The prongs come up from the band below at nearly a ninety degree angle, which was just what the client requested. In our initial models, the center setting had somewhat of a V shape from the side view, and she asked that we change this to reflect more of a squared look.
Diamond Accents
All the way around the band, smaller round diamonds are shared prong set in an eternity pattern. These add overwhelming glamour and sparkle to the piece, and they provide the perfect complement to the brilliant oval diamond at the top. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Shared prong set diamonds also run around the sides of the main setting on the two rails that enclose the gallery. These are significantly smaller than those on the band, and the surprise sparkle they contribute from certain angles helps to perfectly complete the look the clients were after.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
