Center Diamond
The main stone in this ring is a 0.70 carat round brilliant cut diamond held in a four prong setting made of 14k white gold. Diamonds are a traditional choice for engagement rings due to their association with romantic love, unparalleled beauty, and purity. They also exhibit exceptional sparkle, and that helps make the ring truly stand out.
Selecting the right diamond for your ring is an important step, but it can be overwhelming if you’re not familiar with the process. Of course, our experts are always here to assist you. We’ve also put together an online resource that you can use to familiarize yourself with the vocabulary used to refer to diamonds, as well as with how the different properties of a particular stone can impact its appearance and value. Halo Setting
The halo setting was a feature that our client particularly wanted included in his ring, and it’s a wonderful way to emphasize the beauty of the round center stone. The squared halo used here features bright cut set diamonds that sit just below the main diamond and help to increase its sparkle by reflecting light back up onto it.
Ornate Band
Another aspect of this ring design that was important to the client was the swirl design on the band. He provided some examples of what he was looking for, and our designers went through several options with him until we found one he liked.
The ornate and organic nature of the band helps to make this a truly unique piece, and the bezel set diamonds incorporated into the swirls help tie everything together. These diamonds and the swirls are also lined with milgrain, which gives the ring a nice vintage flair.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
