It was designed for a client from Sammamish, WA, who worked with our team extensively online and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to make sure every detail was executed to perfection.

Center Setting
The stone at the center of this ring is a 2.01 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and its exceptional beauty shines through from every angle thanks to the openness of its platinum four prong setting. Platinum is the perfect choice to hold a gem of this size due to its extreme strength and durability, and it also displays a beautiful silvery color. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The shank shoulders are lined with split prong set diamonds, and we adjusted the shape of these settings a bit to make them better conform to our client’s wishes. Milgrain beading runs along both sides of these rows of diamonds, framing them nicely, and it also lines the ring that encircles the lower part of the center stone.
The milgrain especially helps give this piece a lovely vintage flair. It works well with the style and shape of the center stone, as well as with the choice of the split prong setting for the accent diamonds to create this effect, and it also gives the design an added dimension.

Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
