Description
This stunning engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond bezel set in the center of a halo of split prong set diamonds, all atop a narrow white gold shank. The unusual combination of setting style in this piece brings a more contemporary flavor to the classical halo design, and it’s a great example of the way you can mix and match various features to achieve exactly the look you’re after. Center Diamond and Halo
The main diamond in this ring is one carat and round brilliant cut. It’s bezel set in 14k white gold, and this arrangement frames it beautifully, helping to highlight its elegant shape. The use of the bezel setting also provides protection from the rigors of everyday wear, and it helps lower the profile of the ring while still keeping this gorgeous stone front and center. Diamond Engagement Rings
A halo of small round diamonds sits slightly below the level of the bezel setting, and it follows the contours of the larger diamond precisely. The diamonds in the halo are all split prong set, and this creates a vaguely floral sense for the center setting, while also introducing some classical undertones. The delicately uneven outer margin of the halo contrasts nicely with the perfectly smooth bezel setting in the center as well, helping to highlight the subtle beauty of both design elements.
Band Design and Customization Options
The band is narrow, straight and flat, with a very slight taper towards the bottom and a high polish finish. It’s made from 14k white gold, and it rises up to meet the underside of the halo, providing structural stability while maintaining the central position of the main setting. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Even for so streamlined a design, there are plenty of elements to modify as you look to put your personal mark on this ring. For instance, you could start by using pink or yellow sapphires in the halo to further the floral theme. Or you could switch to a rose or yellow gold band to add some vintage flair. Experimenting with different setting styles for the center diamond and halo are options as well, and no matter what you ultimately decide, our team is committed to producing a fine piece of custom jewelry that’s exactly inline with your vision.
