Whether you’d like to use this ring as your sole inspiration, or you have several sample pieces you’d like to combine, our experts will guide you through the custom design process from start to finish. We’ll share highly-detailed CAD models of your piece with you online, and you can request as many adjustments to these as you’d like. We can even make a wax from these models for you to inspect in person to be absolutely sure every detail is perfect before you give your approval for us to move your piece into production.

Diamond Center

At the top of this ring, a one carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in an 18k white gold setting, the prongs of which each sit just outside the margins of the band below. This allows the diamond to extend modestly beyond the band on each side, highlighting its special status in the ring without overpowering the other lovely design details. Diamond and Milgrain Accents

On the shank shoulders, marquise shaped diamonds are bezel set at an angle, with one point aligned with the left side of the band, while the other is aligned with the right. There are six of these on each side, and they alternate in their angle, producing a pattern in which every diamond meets one of its neighbors at each end. Diamond Engagement Rings

The space between adjacent marquise diamonds is occupied by a much smaller round bright cut set diamond, and a double row of milgrain beading runs down the margins of the band nearly to the bottom. Milgrain lines the bezel setting of the marquise stones as well, and it also runs along both sides of the bright cut set diamonds that cover the band on both ring fronts, providing a clear connection between all elements of the piece.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Diamond and gemstone selection
We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
Final inspection
Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
