Diamond Solitaire
This ring is considered a solitaire, as the one carat round brilliant cut diamond is the sole gemstone present. It’s held in a four prong white gold setting that rises up naturally from the lower portion of the cathedral shank. The strands that eventually form the prongs cross over each other directly below the diamond before curving up and into the main setting. Diamond Engagement Rings

Custom Filigree and Engraving
The tapered band of this ring has a large opening on the shank shoulders, which is filled with an ornate vine and leaf filigree. The organic elements of this design are echoed in the hand-engraved pattern on the fronts of the band, and also on the top below where the filigree section ends. Filigree fills the spaces below the main diamond and below the top of the shank shoulders as well.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
