Center Setting and Halo

At the center of this ring, a 1.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong setting made of 14k white gold. It’s surrounded by a halo of split prong set diamonds, the margins of which extend just slightly beyond those of the split tapered shank as it passes below the center on each side. The split prong setting of the diamonds in the halo brings some classical flair to the design, and they help intensify the brilliant sparkle of the larger center stone by reflecting light back up onto it. Diamond Accents

Running down each shank shoulder are clusters of round diamonds, each of which slightly overlaps the one below. These clusters all have a larger diamond at the center and smaller diamonds encircling them, mirroring the arrangement of the center setting but on a smaller scale. They also utilize shared prong settings to allow as little metal as possible to be visible around the stones.
