Engagement Ring Description

This exquisite engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in the center of a hexagonal halo of bright cut set diamonds, accented by additional bright cut set diamonds and a wing motif on the shoulders of the rose gold shank below. It was created for a client from Mount Laurel, NJ, who reached out to us online to share his vision for the ring he hoped to create for his fiancee-to-be.

We developed a set of CAD proofs based on information he provided, and he requested a few changes to these initial models. After seeing a new set of proofs that incorporated his feedback, he quickly gave approval to move things into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Setting and Halo

In the center of this ring is a 1.51 carat round brilliant cut diamond held in place by six rose gold talon prongs. This elegant stone is surrounded by a hexagonal halo of small round bright cut set diamonds, the corners of which line up with the prongs of the center setting. Two points of the halo are inline with the band, a detail which positions flat sides at the top and bottom of the diamond, and this was a specific alignment that the client requested as well. Diamond Accents and Wing Motif

Bright cut set diamonds run down both shank shoulders, stopping at about the mid-point on the band. These tie in nicely with the diamonds in the halo, and they add a glamorous sparkle, especially when the ring is viewed straight on from the top. On both ring fronts, a wing motif covers the space below these accent diamonds, integrating a detail with special significance for the client. Hand Engraving

Custom Filigree Plate

Directly below the center diamond on the interior surface of the ring, a custom filigree plate is formed in the shape of the client’s fiancee’s initials in a script-style font. This was something the client specifically requested as well, and he adjusted our initial model of it so that it was perfect.
