Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103063 $4,525 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
The prongs holding the center diamond emerge from the underside of the shank shoulders, crossing over each other directly below the stone before curving upward dramatically to meet it at its girdle. The diamond itself is one carat and round brilliant cut, and the way the prongs leave the setting open on the ring fronts allows for a clear view of the stone while ensuring plenty of light reaches it as well. Filigree and Milgrain
Both shank shoulders are composed of an ornate and organic pattern of filigree, with scrolls and pear shapes curling around each other from the mid-point on each side of the band all the way up to the center setting. This use of filigree gives the band a more open look, and it evokes some overtones of vintage flair as well. To enhance this effect, and also to help clarify the design, all of the filigree is lined with delicate milgrain beading. Antique Engagement Rings Seattle
Diamond Accents
Accent diamonds are bright cut and bezel set within the filigree pattern on each shank shoulder. They are of varying sizes, and the bezel set diamonds are contained within loops of filigree, while the bright cut set stones are generally grouped into pairs and placed within a pear shaped section of the metal. All of the accent diamonds together total 0.41 carats, and the combination of their placement and different sizes adds to the organic overtones of the design.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
